Use your imagination and help us create a village of play dens in the magical Abriachan forest, with help from the staff at the Forest School.

Explore the native woodlands and spot some local wildlife on the nature trails – perhaps a dragonfly or a butterfly, a frog, a pine marten or even a red squirrel!

Soup, rolls and hot beverages will be on offer. All welcome. No need to book ahead. Outdoor clothing recommended. Talks and demonstrations will take place in the Forest Classroom (see Huts in Place event, tickets here).

Abriachan Forest is one of the largest community-owned forests in Scotland set high above the shores of Loch Ness. The forest, purchased in 1998, is managed by Abriachan Forest Trust (AFT) who work to encourage recreational and educational use of the forest.
