Over the 8th and 9th June, participants from all backgrounds are invited to join Custom Lane residents and collaborators to build the Custom Lane Summer Pavilion on The Shore in Leith.

The temporary pavilion will provide an opportunity for explorative collaboration in design and fabrication and will be collectively conceived in response to the 2019 Architecture Fringe provocation, In Real Life. Once built, the pavilion will remain in place until the end of September, supporting a range of community activities held at Custom Lane. All equipment and materials will be provided during the build.

Custom Lane is a creative hub for design and making, and consists of co-working space, studios, community workshop, events space, gallery, café and design shop. It is home to a wide variety of progressive individuals and businesses practicing across the creative industries.
