Canadian artist, writer, and rock musician Josh Thorpe responds to the former steel shed exhibition space know as DOK in Edinburgh’s Leith district. Thorpe uses unassuming materials such as thread, paper, rubbish, or drips of paint to play with space, light, and our perception of the material world. The exhibition Vibrant Shed will be invented for the DOK space. It is likely that the lights will be dimmed and the door will be opened to let in the natural light and the breeze.
