If bricks could talk, what stories would they tell us? What if the built environment wasn't just an assembly of lifeless resources, but had emotions, intelligence, memories?
This exhibition features materials recovered from deconstructions along with narratives that depict both their identities and their life stories. It explores the deeply intertwined relationship between humans and building materials - one where we recognise their significance and acknowledge how our own life is profoundly shaped by their existence. It challenges our tendency to take materials for granted and invites us to see them not as owned assets, but as entities that carry the memory of generations past and actively contribute to the interbecoming of future generations.
