Access to the building on the Shore itself is generally accessible. Some areas have cobblestone streets, which may be less accessible, but tarmac paths and routes are available to the venue. There are some uneven flooring and small lips at entrance points in the building which are easy to negotiate and all areas are otherwise level.

Led by the artist and researcher Dr. Désirée Coral Guerra, Living Table is inspired by life and sharing and the landscapes that are the recipes over the table.
The Living Table is a project through which we create a space where we gather and exchange in various forms of language; to connect, share and receive nourishment of food while thinking and sharing the various complexities that exist around the table.
The Living Table in its previous iterations has reflected upon and discussed the relationships, connections, and antagonisms in the politics of food, agricultures, human and non-human relations, power hierarchies and the poetics of food. https://www.desireecoral.com/work/living-table
For this Living Table - Mother Tongue we would like to prompt you to share a dish that embraces the identity of home, that which expresses the idea of a 'mother tongue' and share the story behind the dish, the memories, the geography and the politics of those food recipes. While activating the exercise of sharing our own flavours and with them our stories.
Limited places are available - please book to take a seat at the table via the Eventbrite. Password is: mother_tongue
