Step inside the workshops of Scotland’s most innovative material makers in Materials in motion, a special screening that takes you behind the scenes of small-scale production, sustainable design and contemporary craftsmanship.
Through a series of beautifully captured short films, Architextures explores the artistry, skill and dedication behind local craft, shedding light on the people and processes that shape our built environment.
As industries shift and supply chains globalise, what does it mean to produce materials locally? How do these craftspeople balance heritage with innovation? And what role do these materials play in shaping the spaces we inhabit?
Join us for a day of film as we celebrate the textures, techniques and traditions that define our current material landscape. Whether you're an architect, designer, maker or simply fascinated by craft, this screening offers a rare glimpse into the hands-on processes of Scotland’s next-generation craft.
The screening will take place every 3 minutes, with unscheduled entry.
Visitors will also have the chance to view the materials up close.
