Architecture Fringe New Producers

Four international curators explore and celebrate the reciprocal connections between communities and their environments. From the tenements of Govanhill to Uibhist and Scandinavia, join us at The Briggait on a journey of what works for communities around the world.

A hands-on workshop will take place on Sunday 8th June inviting the festival visitors to collaboratively reflect on the theme of connections between communities and their environments, share stories, celebrate successes and dream about the future.

The New Producers programme from the Architecture Fringe aims to encourage and develop new voices in event organisation, exhibition production, curation, writing and cultural leadership in Scotland - expanding the practice of architecture.

Supported by mentors Stacey Hunter, Anna Gormezano, Grace Browne and Kam Chan, this second edition of the programme brings together four new voices tasked with creating new cultural work for the Architecture Fringe 2025 Core Programme.

The New Producers for 2025 are:

Dana Cherepkova @danachemodana

Dana is an architect and a facilitator of community-building projects inspiring people to engage more deeply with their culture, place, and community.

Joanne Hall @joannemhall

Joanne is an architecture graduate, currently working with RIAS. Having lived in rural mainland and island Scotland, Joanne is passionate about inspiring people to engage with this part of our country.

Katie Sapsford @katiesapsford

Katie Sapsford is a creative practitioner passionate about using art and design to engage thoughtfully with the built environment.

Heather Storgaard @storgaard.heather

Heather Storgaard is a writer and cultural practitioner based in Scotland and Denmark. She is interested in exploring the futures of our coasts and islands. The New Producers will be exhibiting their new cultural work in The Briggait.
