Over the Spring of 2025, four women and four men have met regularly to explore how men can be more engaged in Feminist Placemaking, and why such a process benefits everyone. These discussions have led to a series of themes, serving as a starting point for a larger group to deepen the dialogue through choreography.
During the
workshop, 20 women and 20 men will work through a series of choreographed
scenarios. Using ten tables, participants will consider thematic questions in
both mixed and single-gender groups, practicing generative listening and
shifting between active and receptive roles.
The event will last 2 hours and will be recorded on film to capture insights
and inform collaborative approaches to urbanism.
20 spaces will be open to the general public to join 20 invited participants who are working in fields of study related to Feminist Placemaking.
