To celebrate the UK and US certification of the K-Briq®, Kenoteq invites you to join us for an exciting site visit to Scotland’s National Retrofit Centre where our award-winning material, the revolutionary K-Briq, is being installed in collaboration with BE-ST to complete the deep retrofit of their new facility, using low carbon sustainable materials.

The documented retrofit not only seeks to achieve the energy-efficiency standard for retrofit, EnerPHit, it is also taking a fabric first approach and, once complete, the building will become a demonstrator of retrofit techniques and best practice for professionals in Scotland and beyond to learn from.

BE-ST and John Gilbert Architects will share their vision of the project, its progress so far and the challenges encountered. Kenoteq will present the K-Briq, talking through their journey and the circular economy approaches of this locally produced product as well as share early adopter projects where the product is being used as low carbon solution. Stakeholders such as Zero Waste Scotland and SEPA will also join us to talk about the public finance support and regulatory requirements for bringing circular products to market and using them in exciting retrofit projects such as this.

The event will take place at BE-ST, Unit 3B, Hamilton International Technology Park, 3 Watt Pl, Blantyre, Glasgow G72 0AH
