The Thinkbelt seeks to deepen the impact of Price’s work through expanding participation among architecture schools, and to engage with Price’s ideas on site-specific pedagogy. The Thinkbelt highlights local architecture practices, encouraging dialogue between Schools and the profession and local and regional public bodies such as city councils. Through this platform, we aim to explore how Price’s work can shape a pedagogy that is inclusive, sustainable, and globally impactful, establishing an expanding Thinkbelt across the UK and beyond to celebrate Price’s anticipatory approach to architecture.
This touring exhibition was launched at the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and Built Environment (October 2024), and has visited Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (November 2024), the Mackintosh School of Architecture (December 2024), the School of Architecture of Staffordshire (January 2025), Birmingham School of Architecture and Design (February 2025), the School of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University and the School of Architecture and Cities and the University of Westminster (April 2025).
