At Anderson Bell + Christie, we are driven by a passion for understanding how people engage with architecture and the spaces they inhabit. As architects and designers, we strive to create environments that reflect the needs and experiences of the community.

In collaboration with Capability Scotland and WAVEparticle, we hosted a series of workshops with secondary school students and Capability Scotland customers to explore their views on what an inclusive and empowering environment looks like.

The workshop sessions were captured live through drawings and photography, offering a visual representation of participants’ collective vision of community. The insights from these workshops have culminated in our exhibition showcasing the process undertaken and exploring how personal experiences and memories shape our understanding of place and communities.

At the opening night of the exhibition, speakers from Anderson Bell + Christie and WAVEparticle will present an overview of the workshop series and outcomes. We also invite those attending to take part in discussions around community and what it means to them.
